Impressions come first – and they last long.
There are a few things you must know before you make the next visit to your favorite hairstylist’s.
Before then, picture this:
You are excited about getting a new hairstyle done. You’ve imagined how ravishingly beautiful you’d look afterwards.
Everything is set and you head out to your favorite salon. On arrival, the unwelcoming atmosphere hits you and suddenly your excitement fades.
Although your hairstylist is so good, you never got a great feeling after that session there.
If that was you, here are two ways your hairstylist’s should make feel on arrival. 13-year-old Ms. Kelly was gracious enough to share with us.
1. Your hairstylist’s must make you feel welcomed and special
Ms. Kelly told me she loves coming to our salon because we make her feel welcomed and special!
This is so important if you must go back home feeling even more excited than before you visited.
Making you feel welcomed and special encourages you through the styling process, knowing that the chic-look you envisaged will become a reality.
It is the impression that comes first and lasts long. You know nothing is ever the same again if you get the tiniest feeling of not being welcomed.
You may consider changing your hairstylist if that’s how you feel every time you visit theirs.
2. Your hairstyle must make you feel good inside and out
You know that smile that comes from deep within you when you look in the mirror after getting your hair done? That’s beauty from inside.
What about the glowing smile that crowns your look when you walk out of the salon even before the compliments starts flooding in? That’s beauty without.
I’m positive you’d want to feel that way every time, even if it is only after you get a new hairstyle done.
It is the second reason Ms. Kelly likes it at our place.
“I love this shop because they make me feel welcomed and special. It makes me feel good in the inside like I can do anything.”
Not only does your hairstylist’s place have to be welcoming, the hairstyle itself must leave you feeling like you can tell time to stop and it will.
It’s your hair and your looks. Don’t take chances with just any stylist. I’d be more than willing to talk hair issues with you, should you have any.
